St. Patrick’s College is delighted to announce another year of exceptional academic achievement as Post-16 students receive their A-Level and AS-Level results today. Continuing the school’s proud tradition of excellence, the Year 14 Class of 2026 has achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate, with every single student securing success in at least three A-Levels.
The vast majority of Year 14 students have successfully locked in their chosen career pathways and university courses, securing places at top institutions across the UK and Ireland alongside prestigious higher-level apprenticeships.
Adding to the celebration, the Year 13 cohort delivered an extraordinary performance in their AS-Level examinations, securing the best results in the school's history. These landmark outcomes set a powerful foundation as they prepare to enter their final year of study.
Reflecting on the outstanding results across both year groups, the leadership team at St. Patrick’s College extended heartfelt gratitude to the broader school community, highlighting the teamwork required to reach these heights.
"We are immensely proud of our Post-16 pupils for their outstanding dedication and resilience," said Mrs Woods, Principal. "Our Year 13 and 14 students serve as complete role models for our junior school, showcasing precisely what can be achieved through grit, determination, and consistent hard work.
"An achievement of this scale is never accomplished in isolation. We owe a massive thank you to our parents and guardians for their unwavering support in helping us guide their children. Equally, huge thanks go to the incredible determination of our teachers and support staff, who are always at hand to help, support, and navigate our pupils through the stresses and strains of Post-16 study. The strong partnership we share with our parents, guardians, and pupils continues to strengthen and expand our ever-growing Post-16 provision."
As the Year 14 cohort moves on to their next exciting chapters, and Year 13 prepares for the year ahead, St. Patrick’s College congratulates all pupils on their stellar achievements.
