Preparation for and completion of formal assessments, coursework, orals, and practicals are part of the pupils school day, right up until they sit their end of year examinations in June.  Our teachers carefully analyse performance data pertaining to each child and personalised targets are set for them to enable early detection of underachievement so that intervention strategies can be implemented.    

Each child will complete four formal assessments per year in each subject area and these are personalised as each student is given their own target to achieve in each subject.

Following the completion of each formal assessment, parents will receive a ‘statement of results’ that will illustrate how their son/daughter is progressing in each subject area – this statement will be ‘traffic lighted’ to indicate whether pupils are achieving their teacher-set targets.  At the end of the academic year, parents will receive a full subject report which will contain the mark the students achieved in their end of year examination along with all other past formal assessment scores and teachers comments.
